Dr. Yiannis Pavlosoglou
Dr. Yiannis Pavlosoglou is a cybersecurity executive with a deep-seated expertise in steering organizations towards robust digital security. He is currently Vice Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece.
He has served as CISO in two distinct national contexts both in the UK for UBS and Europe for the Public Sector, bringing solutions to global cybersecurity challenges. Yiannis also actively contributes to the broader security community, has been previously elected to a number of positions and has served as Non-Executive Director in the roles of Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer on a number of Boards.
Previously, he has founded three companies, namely Seleucus and RiskFrame in London, UK and Kiberna in Athens, Greece. His focus has always been to deliver data-driven security solutions that protect businesses against emerging cyber threats.
With over 20 years of experience in Information Security, he has a track record history of contributing to and successfully applying industry-standard frameworks, the latest of is the Artificial Intelligence Resilience Maturity Model (AI-RMM), for which he is a co-author. His technical journey is marked by a PhD in secure routing protocols, over five years as a professional penetration tester, and significant contributions to the public domain, including over 10,000 lines of open source code.
