This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participants and the consequences of unacceptable behavior, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all.

Expected Behavior

• •Actively and authentically participate to contribute to a healthy community
• •Show respect and consideration in your words and actions.
• •Seek collaboration over conflict and avoid discriminatory, harassing, or demeaning behavior.
• •Stay mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants, and report any concerning behavior to organizers.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include but are not limited to:

• • Harassment or discriminatory comments regarding gender, race, religion, disability, or other personal attributes.
• •Inappropriate use of sexual images or violent depictions.
• •Intimidation, stalking, unwelcome attention, or physical contact.
• •Sustained disruption of talks or events.
• •Hacking or tampering with the venue’s infrastructure, systems, or networks. Let’s keep the hacking fun, ethical, and in the spirit of OffensiveX!

Consequences

Participants engaging in unacceptable behavior may face actions such as warnings, temporary bans, or permanent expulsion from the community without refund. Immediate compliance is expected if asked to cease inappropriate behavior.

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior

If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please notify a community organizer or email info(at)offensivex(dot)org. Organizers are available to assist, including involving law enforcement or providing escorts to ensure your safety.

Grievances

If you believe you were falsely or unfairly accused of a violation, contact an organizer with a concise description of your grievance. It will be handled per our governance policies.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, sponsors, and contributors in OffensiveX community venues—both online and in-person—and during all related communications.
